Maria Gertrude Pereira Meyn
She passed away recently in Finland
Finland was where her daughter Aveline Joan Meyne is working and livinng.
Her husband Edward and Maria had been there for just few days, when Maria was struck by stroke.
Maria will be buried in Finland.
The Meyns have another child, Sonia. Sonia lives in Dubai.
Maria had worked in the History Department of St. Theresa's College Ernakulam.
Maria has several siblings,most of them live in and around Cochin area.

Madamakkal Mathew Lazar
He was one of sons of Bolghatty.
Passed away recently, he was retired from Malayalam Daily Deshabhimani, and was the Cochin Bureau Chief. He leaves behind his wife and son. Son Abby Abraham works for Deshabhimani.
He as several brothers and sisters. Late Abraham Madamakkal was a freedom fighter, who was jailed , along with K Karunakaran, and later Abraham worked for Mathrubhumi.
His brother MM Mathew was twice Additional Prosecutor General, and MM Lawarance is trade union leader and Marxist Party leader.
Babu Mathew P Joseph is son of Elizabeth, sister of late Lazar.
Let me not forget several of his sibling, they are Francis, George, John ( all late) and rest are Thomas and Angela.
Bolghatty is yet another name for Ponjikkara, and then part of Mulavukad island. Ponnarimangalam is yet another part of Mulavukad island and end of the island is called, well, Mulavukad again.
